Consent to telehealth
By starting a telehealth visit you agree that a clinician licensed in California may assess you remotely, as described in California Business and Professions Code section 2290.5. The clinician may ask you to visit in person if a remote assessment is not appropriate.
Limitations
Some conditions cannot be diagnosed remotely, and some medicines, including many controlled substances, cannot be prescribed via telehealth except as federal and state law allow.
